After a hard day at work and a condominium-board meeting, accountant Ugo Fantozzi goes on a trip with his family. Unfortunately, he will face a nasty surprise upon his return.

Fantozzi wird von seiner verheirateten Tochter aus dem Haus geworfen und stellt fest, dass er nur noch eine Woche zu leben hat. Seine treue Frau Pina organisiert für ihn eine Liebesnacht mit der Frau seiner Träume, Silvani. Als Fantozzi feststellt, dass es sich um eine falsche Diagnose handelte, erleidet er vor Freude einen Herzinfarkt und stirbt, doch im Paradies findet er einen Buddha, der ihn zur Reinkarnation verurteilt.

Die Malocher Angelo und Silvano beten ohne Ende Frauen und Sonne an, und das Straßenmädchen Elide macht das erste Mal mit ihrem Zuhälter Ferien am heißen Badestrand….
