88 constellations that exist in the universe have fallen into the hands of the evil Space Shogunate Jark Matter. However, the insurrection army Rebellion and three Kyurangers chosen by the Kyutama are opposing them to protect the people. By an accident, an adventurer traveling through space, Lucky witnesses Chamaeleon Green, Oushi Black, and Kajiki Yellow fighting on the planet Cthros. Lucky decides to become the 4th Kyuranger and they set out to planet Jagujagu to search for the Kyutama.

The search is on for the remaining four Kyurangers. Lucky lands on Planet Jigama and encounters Balance and Nāga. They call themselves the “Phantom Thief Group BN”, stealing only from Jark Matter. Lucky hears their next aim is to steal a jewel from Jark Matter’s space ship Moraimarz. They soon meet the first Daikan commander, Gamettsui, who Balance betrayed. Elsewhere, Jark Matter’s general, Eridron, appears before Hammy and the others.

On the desert planet of Needle, a danger of explosion has been identified due to Jark Matter sucking up the planet’s energy. Lucky and the others go down to Planet Needle to deal with Jark Matter. Once there they happen upon a man named Stinger, who has a Kyutama!

The Orion, the Kyurangers spaceship, heads towards Earth. There’s always one Daikaan on every planet, but there are multiple Daikaan confirmed to be on board the Moraimarz on Earth. Lucky and the others head down to investigate, where the Daikaan known as Yumepakkun steals and eats the dreams of children. Meanwhile, Raptor 238 dreams of fighting together with the Kyurangers, and her wild ideas and fascinations with fighting are only getting bigger.

With eight members in their team, the Kyurangers confront Eriedrone and Stinger. Lucky once again asks Stinger to join their cause. Divided between his faith and his feelings, Stinger makes the final decision.

Now with the team complete, the Kyurangers decide to start their campaign to liberate the universe with Earth. Lucky obtains the Pegasus Kyutama that grants him a special armor. However, he fails to control it and the team takes part in a rather unusual training routine to help him master it as they encounter the powerful Ikargen and Mardakko.

Shou informs the other Kyurangers of their next move, which is to assemble three special Kyutamas that together, unlock the power of the legendary spaceship "Argo", necessary to bring down Jark Matter. However, Lucky has an unusual string of bad luck and trying to prove himself despite that, he confronts Ikargen and the revived Mardakko alone.

However, their next enemy is Scorpio, the Karo of the Scorpius System and Stinger's older brother, who uses his poison to transform his victims into zombies.
