Eric Knowles grabs his scarf and sonic screwdriver to present a special episode to mark the 60th anniversary of Britain’s best loved action-adventure show, Doctor Who. After encountering a Dalek and escaping into a Tardis, he’s transported to Carmarthen antiques fair, where he meets two teams of die-hard fans, each hoping to exterminate their competitors and find some stellar bargains. Their companions for the day are experts Richard Madley and Kate Bliss, both dressed as two well-known Doctors. But which team will win the cosmic battle to make the biggest profit at auction? Eric also chats to a superfan with an extraordinary and valuable collection of original Doctor Who props, some of which date back to the show’s early days - including alien outfits, Cybermen masks and, of course, a Dalek.

Bargain Hunt joins forces with another legendary BBC show, Blue Peter, to celebrate its 65th anniversary. For the first time ever, the red and blue teams searching for antiques are made up of children! They’re guided by presenter Natasha Raskin Sharp, toy experts Tim Weeks and Thomas Forrester, and two Blue Peter presenters, Joel Mawhinney and Abby Cook. The children scour the stalls at a huge toy fair in Surrey in search of vintage toys, which could earn them some serious pocket money when they go under the hammer at the auction in Derbyshire. Natasha also looks at the history of Blue Peter memorabilia, from badges to books – and meets Anthea Turner, the Blue Peter presenter whose famous homemade model of Thunderbirds’ Tracy Island caused a nationwide craze back in the early 1990s.

In a leafy suburb of Hampshire, Natasha Raskin Sharp visits an unrivalled collection of Matchbox toy cars dating back to the 1950s. Collector Nigel Cooper reckons he has about 25,000 miniature motors, some he bought as a boy with his pocket money. Among his rarest models is a coronation coach and horses from 1953 with a surprising story. In neighbouring Surrey, two teddy-bear-loving teams compete for profits at a huge toy fair at Sandown Park Racecourse. Both teams are set toy-related challenges, but will their search for three items be child’s play? Then it’s off to the auction in Derby, where toy specialist Sean Devitt is on the rostrum.

In a special festive show, Charlie Ross discovers the story behind Christmas stamps, which first appeared on cards and letters in the UK in 1966. Charlie meets Chris Taft from the Postal Museum and shows off a unique Bargain Hunt stamp design! At the antiques fair in Malvern, it’s a battle between two husband-and-wife pairings guided by two of Santa’s helpers, antiques experts Tim Weeks and Izzie Balmer. The Red and Blue teams get are keen to get Christmas cracking – but with just 60 minutes on the clock to find their three items, which team will fill their stockings with the best buys? At the auction in Lichfield, Richard Winterton is on the rostrum to wrap up this Christmas special. Will the bidders get into the festive spirit and deliver big profits for the teams?

Charlie Ross lifts the lid on a festive tradition that always makes Christmas go with a bang! At the antiques fair in Malvern, two Christmas-loving teams shop for festive goodies, alongside experts Tim Weeks and Izzie Balmer. Both teams will have to meet a seasonal Charlie’s challenge, but who will clinch a Christmas victory at the auction in Lichfield? Auctioneer Richard Winterton’s saleroom is decked with Christmas trees and tinsel, but will the bidders get into the Christmas spirit and bring some cracking profits for the teams?

Up against them are ‘The Bristol blues’, friends Helen and Donna, assisted by Richard Madley. At the auction, Eric asks auctioneer Andrew Stowe for his estimates on the teams’ items. On the red team are friends Trina and Sharon, whose ambition is to 'make loads of money'. In blue, it’s engaged couple Alex and Fran, who plan to 'spend big'. They’re in the safe hands of experts Jonathan Pratt and Irita Marriott. In Wrexham, auctioneer Matthew Tong reveals his estimates to Christina, but which team will be celebrating by the time the credits roll?

Two teams hunt for bargains at a huge antiques centre in Derbyshire under the guidance of experts Nick Hall and Izzie Balmer. Charlie Ross comes face to face with a dinosaur, Titus, the showpiece at Wollaton Hall, a museum and country house dating back to the 1580s. Finally, both teams face a mammoth task as they compete to make the most profit at Caroline Hawley’s auction.

Charlie Ross meets an avid collector of retro bikes, and the teams hunt for bargains in Derbyshire with experts Nick Hall and Izzie Balmer. Charlie recalls his happy childhood memories of riding a bike and learns how BMX and mountain bikes revolutionised cycling in the 1970s and 80s. He meets collector Mike to see some of the retro bikes in his collection, including a Burner, a Mustang and, of course, a Chopper. At Beverley Racecourse in East Yorkshire, auctioneer Caroline Hawley reveals her estimates to Charlie before the teams’ items go under her gavel. Who will be first past the post?
