Brooks, Barry Levinson, and his most common collaborator, Martin Scorsese. Ballhaus is widely admired as a key force behind Scorsese’s films during the 1980s and 1990s, most notably “Goodfellas.” Michael’s son, Florian, is also a cinematographer, known for “The Devil Wears Prada.”.
