Bridgit Claire Mendler (born December 18, 1992) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and business executive. She first became known as a child actress, with her early credits including the films Alice Upside Down (2007), The Clique (2008) and Labor Pains (2009). She signed with Disney Channel in 2009 and played Juliet van Heusen on Wizards of Waverly Place (2009–2012), Olivia White in the Disney Channel film Lemonade Mouth (2011), and Teddy Duncan on the Disney series Good Luck Charlie (2010–2014). She went on to portray Candace in the NBC sitcom Undateable (2015–2016), Ashley Willerman in the ABC/CMT musical television series Nashville ()

She is best known for her lead role as Teddy Duncan on the Disney Channel Original Series Good Luck Charlie, her recurring role as Juliet Van Heusen on Wizards of Waverly Place and her lead role as Olivia on the Disney Channel Original Movie Lemonade Mouth.She has also appeared in Labor Pains, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. In 2015 she joined the main cast of the NBC sitcom Undateable as Candace, which aired until 2016. In 2019, she starred on Netflix's Merry Happy Whatever as Emmy Quinn.Aside from her artistic career, Bridgit also has a master's degree on MIT and is currently working on JD in Harvard Law School and PhD on MIT.
