Inspired by Steven Blush's book "American Hardcore: A tribal history" Paul Rachman's feature documentary debut is a chronicle of the underground hardcore punk years from 1979 to 1986. Interviews and rare live footage from artists such as Black Flag, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, SS Decontrol and the Dead Kennedys.
In order to keep a promise he made to his wife, an old man sets off to her native village with a bird in a cage. Along the road, together with his granddaughter, he discovers new values, particularly those related to the heart.
Nick Brandestini is a filmmaker based in Zurich, Switzerland. His first documentary, Return to Florence (2006), about a small group of young American and British artists studying classical methods at an unconventional school in Florence, screened at numerous film festivals across North America, winning several awards. His next documentary, H.R. Giger's Sanctuary (2007), about the renowned and reclusive artist, H.R. Giger, most famous as the creator of Ridley Scott's “Alien”, was an official selection at the AFI Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Austrian United Nations Judge Claudia Fenz arrives in Kosovo to hear the case of a group of ethnic Albanian men accused of killing a Serbian woman. Whilst dealing with the peculiarities of the region, including rolling blackouts, she meets with prominent locals and learns of the traditional, somewhat radical, approach to justice in Kosovo, favoring reconciliation over punishment.
