When a corpse is washed-up in the remote town of Seyðisfjörður, and discovered by passengers on an incoming ferry from Denmark, Chief of Police Andri Olafssun leads the investigation to solve the case. He quickly deduces the killer must be on board the ferry and forbids the 300 passengers from disembarking until he can make further enquiries. With a severe snowstorm imminent, Andri and his small team must work quickly and without any backup to solve the mystery.
