The show was filmed on location in New York in front of a live audience, which was somewhat unique for a show of its genre during the late 1970s, as most sitcoms were typically taped in Hollywood. The show aired from 9 October 1977 until 27 August 1978.

Almost Perfect is an American situation comedy that aired on the CBS television network from September 17, 1995 until October 30, 1996.
