Do No Harm is an American medical drama television series that aired on NBC from January 31 through September 7, 2013. The series follows Dr. Jason Cole as he balances working as a neurosurgeon with suppressing his evil alter ego, Ian Price. Do No Harm is a modern take on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic 1886 novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. The series was panned by critics, and holds a 15% on Rotten Tomatoes. The network placed a series order in May 2012. On November 12, 2012, NBC reduced its episode order for the series from 13 to 12 episodes, due to scheduling conflicts (13 episodes were produced and eventually aired). On February 8, 2013, it was announced that NBC had cancelled the series after airing two episodes, due to low ratings. On April 26, 2013, NBC announced that the remaining episodes would be burned off, beginning June 29, 2013. ()

When a surgery's complications force it to continue after 8:25pm, Jason chances taking Ruben's still-unfinished kill drug to hold Ian off long enough to finish the surgery. The surgery is a success, but the drug doesn't last as long as planned and both Lena and Olivia suffer as a result.

After Jason collapses in front of Dr. Young, an MRI reveals Jason has a brain tumor - Jason and Ruben's plan has worked, the "tumor" surgery will act as a cover for Ruben's implant to destroy Ian once and for all but Lena may soon discover the truth and put a stop to their plans. Meanwhile, Ian has no intention of going down without a fight and will stop at nothing to save himself.

Jason's brain surgery is about to begin, a neurotransmitter implant that will "cut out" Ian for good, however due to the blackout drug he has taken for years, Jason is immune to the normal anesthetic. A much stronger drug is given to Jason and in the midst of his twilight sleep he flashes back to his childhood and the origin of Ian Price is finally revealed. Meanwhile, Jordan and Lena are on separate tracks to uncover Jason's secrets all of which could prevent the surgery's completion.
