Ning Hao

Ning Hao (Chinese: 宁浩; born 9 September 1977) is a Chinese film director. Ning studied at the Taiyuan Film School, where he majored in scenic design. He later transferred to the Art Department of Peking University. Ning eventually graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in 2003 with a degree from the Photography Department. ()

Ning Hao graduated from the Art Department of Beijing Normal University and the Photography Department of Beijing Film Academy. 2009, the film "Silver Medalist" directed by him achieved box office results of over 100 million yuan. This made Ning Tao the fourth mainland director to enter the 100 million yuan club after Zhang Yimou, Chen Kaige, and Feng Xiaogang.
