John Paul Cusack (born June 28, 1966) is an American actor, producer, screenwriter, and political activist. He is the son of filmmaker Dick Cusack, and his older sisters are actresses Joan and Ann Cusack. Cusack began acting in films during the 1980s often starring in coming-of-age dramedies such as Class="shortinfo">Sixteen Candles (1984), Class="shortinfo">The Sure Thing (1985), Better Off Dead (1985), and Class="shortinfo">Say Anything...
