Adrienne-Joi Akua Okyerebea Johnson (born January 2, 1963), also known as AJ Johnson, is an American actress, life/wellness coach, fitness trainer, dancer, choreographer, and model. She graduated with honors in 1985 from Spelman Collegein Atlanta and is a member ofDelta Sigma Thetasorority.Acting since 1987, she has made many guest appearances on sitcoms, television dramas and music videos; she also has numerous roles in feature films and TV movies, including House Party and Baby Boy.She has appeared inA Different World,In the Heat of the Night,The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,Amen,Chicago Hope,The Jamie Foxx Show, andTouched by an Angel.
