The Perfect Nanny is a 2001 American psychological thriller television film directed by Robert Malenfant. It stars Tracy Nelson, Bruce Boxleitner, Dana Barron and Katherine Helmond. It centers on a mentally disturbed woman who becomes obsessed with a man, and assumes a hidden identity in order to apply for the position of a nanny in his home, while she is ultimately determined to be his wife. The film marks the second collaboration between Malenfant and Tracy Nelson, the first being the 1998 film, The Night Caller, in which Nelson played a similar role. ()
