Comedy Queen(Movie, 2022)

Comedy Queen is a 2022 Swedish comedy film directed by Sanna Lenken and written by Linn Gottfridsson based on the novel of the same name by Jenny Jägerfeld. The film follows Sasha, a 13-year-old girl who has an ambition to become a stand up comedian as her way of healing from grief. The film had its world premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival where it won the Crystal Bear for Generation Kplus. It also was nominated for six categories at the 58th Guldbagge Awards, winning one for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Sigrid Johnson. ()
