"My name is Nobody" and "Nobody is the greatest" are actually a parody of the spaghetti westerns, but at the same time a legitimate and highly valued contribution to the genre. No wonder, with such a family tree, both films were produced and unofficially co-directed by Sergio Leone himself, the forefather and maestro of Italian westerns. For his personal, tongue-in-cheek farewell to the genre, Leone teamed up with Terence Hill, whose thrashing comedies "The Devil's Right and Left Hand" and "Four Fists for a Hallelujah" were the last breath of spaghetti that was so immensely successful in the 60s Westerns.

Jack Beauregard, an ageing gunman of the Old West, only wants to retire in peace and move to Europe. But a young gunfighter, known as "Nobody", who idolizes Beauregard, wants him to go out in a blaze of glory. So he arranges for Jack to face the 150-man gang known as The Wild Bunch and earn his place in history.
