Das Psychodrama handelt von den Patienten, Ärzten und Pflegekräften einer Psychiatrie im australischen Wakefield der Blue Mountains. Mittendrin ist Nikhil Katira (Rudi Dharmalingam), ein hingebungsvoller Krankenpfleger der Station Ward C, der sich liebevoll um die Patienten kümmert. Es gibt nur ein Problem: Wenn es seinen Patienten besser geht, geht es ihm immer schlechter.
