Supercar was a children's TV show produced by Gerry Anderson and Arthur Provis's AP Films for ATV and ITC Entertainment. 39 episodes were produced between 1961 and 1962, and it was Anderson's first half-hour series. In the UK it was seen on ITV and in the US in syndication. The format uses puppets in a technique called supermarionation, a name that was first seen in the closing titles of the last 13 episodes. The plot of the show consisted of Supercar, a vertical takeoff and landing craft invented by Rudolph Popkiss and Horatio Beaker, and piloted by Mike Mercury. On land it rode on a cushion of air rather than wheels. Jets in the rear allowed it to fly like a jet and retractable wings were incorporated in the back of the car. Retrorockets on the side of the car slowed the vehicle. The car used "Clear-Vu", which included an inside television monitor allowing the occupant to see through fog and smoke. The vehicle was housed in a laboratory and living facility at Black Rock, Nevada, U.S.A. In the show's first episode, "Rescue", the Supercar crew's first mission is to save the passengers of a downed private plane. Two of the rescued, young Jimmy Gibson and his pet monkey, Mitch, are invited to live at the facility and share in the adventures.

1876: An den Ufern des Little Big Horn, wenige Stunden nach der Schlacht. Die Truppen um General Terry und Colonel Gibbon finden ein ausgebranntes Indianerlager vor und schließen daraus, dass etwas Furchtbares passiert sein muss. Als sich Reiter nähern, stellen sie fest, dass es sich bei den Reitern um Marcus Reno und Captain Benteen handeln, die unter dem Kommando von General Custer standen und als einige der wenigen wohl ein großes Gefecht überlebt haben. Auf Befehl von Terry werden sie hinaus geschickt, Custer zu suchen. Sie finden den General schließlich in den Hügeln nahe der Ufer, doch es ist zu spät. Custer und sein gesamtes Regiment wurden von den Indianern vernichtet.

Gambit is an American television game show based on the card game blackjack, created by Wayne Cruseturner and produced by Heatter-Quigley Productions. The show originally ran on CBS from September 4, 1972 to December 10, 1976. A slightly retooled version, Las Vegas Gambit, aired on NBC from October 27, 1980 to November 27, 1981, originating from the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The 1972–1976 version changed taping locations at CBS Television City, taping episodes in Studios 31, 33, 41 and 43 at various times. Both versions were hosted by Wink Martindale and announced by Kenny Williams. Elaine Stewart was the card dealer for the CBS version, while Beverly Malden filled this role for the first half of Las Vegas Gambit, and was later replaced by Lee Menning. The program was retooled as Catch 21, which began airing on GSN in 2008.
