Jugoslawien (serbokroatisch Југославија Jugoslavija, slowenisch Jugoslavija, mazedonisch Југославија, wörtlich übersetzt "Südslawien" von slawisch Jug = Süden) war ein von 1918 bis 2003 bestehender Staat in Mittel- und Südosteuropa, dessen Staatsform und -territorium sich im Laufe seiner Geschichte mehrfach änderten. Von 1918 bis 1941 existierte das Königreich Jugoslawien ("Erstes Jugoslawien"), danach bestand von 1945 bis 1992 die Sozialistische Föderative Republik Jugoslawien ("Zweites Jugoslawien"). Während der Jugoslawienkriege bildete sich von 1992 bis 2003 aus Serbien und Montenegro die Bundesrepublik Jugoslawien, gefolgt 2003 bis 2006 vom territorial und völkerrechtlich identischen Staatenbund Serbien und Montenegro ("Restjugoslawien"). Derzeit gibt es sechs international anerkannte Nachfolgestaaten Jugoslawiens: Bosnien und Herzegowina, Kroatien, Montenegro, Nordmazedonien, Serbien und Slowenien. Der völkerrechtliche Status des Kosovo ist strittig. ()

The show had many reruns over the following years, and acquired a cult following. In the following days the idea of the third season was officially confirmed and members of the original cast started announcing that they would take part in the project.

Plötzlich kehrt er unter dramatischen Umständen nach langer Abwesenheit mit schlechtem Gewissen in seiner alte Heimat zurück und verstirbt. Seinem Sohn Ivo hat er lediglich ein bescheidenes Fischerboot hinterlassen, das den Namen Sinji Galeb , zu deutsch Die blaue Möwe , trägt. Nun versucht Ivo unter den kritischen Augen der Nachbarn dieses Boot, wieder herzurichten. Milewa, ein hübsches junges Mädchen, erinnert die sich abweisend verhaltenden Altersgenossen daran, wie oft Ivo ihnen in schwierigen Situationen geholfen hat. So überwinden sie sich und helfen ihm.
