Vor zwölf Jahren starben mehrere im Irak stationierte Amerikaner auf mysteriöse Weise. Griffin Callenreese tötete in einem Amoklauf mehrere seiner Kameraden und murmelte bis zu seinem Zusammenbruch nur noch die Worte Banana Fish. Sein jüngerer Bruder Aslan wiederum hat sich in der Gegenwart auf den Straßen von New York als Ash Lynx, Anführer einer Straßengang, einen Namen gemacht. Nach einer unbarmherzigen Kindheit ist der schöne und charismatische Heranwachsende nun ebenso clever wie tödlich. Zur Macht verhalf ihm auch seine Verbindung zum Mafiaboss Dino Golzine, der Ash Lynx einst entführte und zur Prostitution zwang. Als eines Tages ein unbekannter Mann Ash eine Patronenhülle mit einer darin enthaltenen Droge in die Hand drückt und kurze Zeit später verstirbt, rücken die mysteriösen Selbstmorde, die sich zuletzt gehäuft haben und das Geheimnis um seinen Bruder mehr und mehr in den Fokus.

At the same time, he meets Eiji Okumura, a Japanese boy who came as a photographer's assistant.

There, Yut Lung was waiting for him...
