Nina Dobrev (bulgarisch Николина Добрева bzw. Нина Добрев; * 9. Januar 1989 in Sofia, Bulgarien, als Nikolina Kamenowa Dobrewa) ist eine bulgarisch-kanadische Schauspielerin. Bekannt ist sie für ihre Rolle der Elena Gilbert und Katherine Pierce der Fernsehserie Vampire Diaries (2009–2017).
Miroslav Barnyashev (Bulgarian: Мирослав Барняшев, [miroˈslɑf bɑrˈnjɑʃɛf]) is a Bulgarian professional wrestler who holds both Bulgarian and American citizenship. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he performs under the ring name Miro and is a one-time AEW TNT Champion. He is also known for his decade-long career in WWE under the ring name Rusev, where he became the first and so far only Bulgarian wrestler to have worked for WWE. In 2010, Barnyashev signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), which was rebranded as NXT in 2012 (WWE's developmental territories). He performed on NXT until 2014, when he and his manager Lana were called to WWE's main roster. He is a three-time WWE United States Champion. He was released by WWE in April 2020, debuting in AEW as Miro in September of that year.
Maria Valcheva Bakalova (born 4 June 1996) is a Bulgarian actress. She is best known for her role as Tutar Sagdiyev in the 2020 mockumentary Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. For her performance in the film, she won the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Supporting Actress, and received nominations at the Academy Awards, the BAFTA Film Awards, the Golden Globe Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.Born and raised in Burgas, Bakalova began her career in Bulgarian cinema by starring in film productions while attending the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. She appeared in films such as Transgression (2017), The Father (2019), Last Call (2020) and Women Do Cry (2021). Since her international breakthrough in 2020, she has been a part of several American productions including Judd Apatow's The Bubble (2022) and the A24 horror film Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022).

Julian Emilianov Vergov (Bulgarian: Юлиан Емилиянов Вергов; born 15 July 1970) is a Bulgarian actor. He is best known for starring in the drama series Glass Home (2010–2012), and the medical drama Stolen Life (2017–2019). Vergov made his acting debut in theatre, starring in Lilia Abadjieva's Romeo and Juliet at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre. He later began acting in films and has starred in numerous Bulgarian films, such as Seamstresses (2007), Mission London (2010), Directions (2017) and In the Heart of the Machine (2022), as well as appeared in several Hollywood productions, such as In Hell (2003), Until Death (2007), The Fourth Kind (2014), and Boyka: Undisputed (2017).
Bashar Mounzer Rahal is the second child to a Bulgarian mother Mariana Rahal - an interior designer and Lebanese father Mounzer Rahal - an OB/GYN. The family moved back to Bulgaria when Bashar was only 6 years old. He first started acting in TV sketches when he was 12. At the age of 14 he became a member of a professional theater group, called "Tears and Laughs", with which he took part in more than 15 performances including Shakespeare and Chekhov. He attended numerous international festivals, including the ones in Avignon, France and Thun, Switzerland among others. His first big screen role at the age of 15 was in 1952: Ivan i Aleksandra (1989) which was followed by more TV and Film appearances. After graduating from The First English Language High School in Sofia, Bashar attended the National Academy of Theater and Film Art, where he received his Masters in Dramatic Arts. Shortly after graduation he was accepted as a permanent member of the national youth theatre and was a guest actor at The National Theatre Sofia Bulgaria. For the next couple of years Bashar appeared in over 25 different TV comedy shows, but became most popular with the hit TV show "It Can't Be"equivalent of SNL ,created & directed by Nellie Andreeva .The show won " Golden Melon", for best comedy show - the most prestigious TV award in Bulgaria. In 1997 Bashar hosted "The Late Night Show" on Channel 3 Sofia , where he met his co-host and future wife Kalina Rahal. In 1999 the couple moved to California so that Bashar could pursue his acting career. He was granted Alien of Extra Ordinary ability as an actor. He is a graduate from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles. For a long time he was considered to play Azamat Bagatov in Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Initially Bashar was not considered to play in Joshua Seftel's Political Satire War ,Inc. but the producers Danny Lerner and Les Weldon convinced both John Cusack and the Director Seftel that he is the best choice for the part. After the end of the shooting Cusack and Seftel admitted that Bashar had developed the best character. Later Danny Lerner casted Bashar as a lead in his upcoming action movie Direct Contact. Recently he was casted to play Boris in Dominic Sena's "Whiteout",starring Kate Beckinsale..

Lucy Diakovska, eigentlich bulgarisch Людмила Любомирова Дяковска Ljudmila Ljubomirowa Djakowska (* 2. April 1976 in Plewen, Bulgarien), auch Lucy Diakowska geschrieben und zeitweise als Lucylicious aufgetreten, ist eine deutsch-bulgarische Pop- und Musicalsängerin. Sie ist Mitglied der deutschen Girlgroup No Angels. Sie erreichte am 5. Februar 2024 in der 17. Ivan Georgiev Ivanov is born on December 16, 1951 in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria. He graduated "acting" in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in the class of Professor Dimitrina Gyurova . Ivan Ivanov has played on the stages of Youth Theatre and Bulgarian Army's Theater until 1983 . The movie "Everything is Love" is the film, after which the actor Ivan Ivanov became a sex symbol of Bulgarian cinema. Besides Rado of "Everything is love," he is Assen in "Avalanche" (1982 ); Vas / Christo in the "Combine" (1982) and Trajan in "Measure of Remand" (1983 ). He starred in films of directors like Borislav Sharaliev ("Boris I", 1985 ), Zako Heskiya ("Night with the white horses", 1985), Ivan Andonov ("Dreamers", 1987) and others. After the TV series "Burn, burn light" (1994) the actor released his first book of short stories and poems - "This life, that life." Then come two more - "Answer" and "Seven Hours Difference." By the first few years of the 21st century Ivanov has been engaged in dubbing movies and serials.
