Usbekisch wird u.a. in Russland, Volksrepublik China, Türkei, Tadschikistan, Afghanistan, Kasachstan, Usbekistan, Turkmenistan und Kirgisistan gesprochen und 45 Filme (zwischen 1924 und 2023) mit dieser Sprache wurden bislang erfasst. Die meisten dieser Filme wurden in Usbekistan (27) gedreht. Besonders beliebte Genres für Usbekisch Filme sind Drama (22), Komödie (9) und Dokumentation (6). Zu den bekanntesten & erfolgreichsten Filmen zählen Bo Ba Bu (1998), Road Under the Skies (2006), Echogram (2003), Aral, Fishing in an Invisible Sea (2004) und Osmondagi bolalar 2 (2023).
