Grenouille verfolgt große Ziele – er will den wunderbarsten Duft der Welt herstellen und reist dafür nach Grasse, der Hauptstadt der Parfümeure. Auf seinem Weg dorthin findet er die passende Blume: Laure, die Tochter des wohlhabenden Antoine Richis.
