Bei einer Auktion verwendet er danach aber praktisch den ganzen Betrag versehentlich für den Kauf einer Standuhr, die auch noch von einem vorbeifahrenden Lastwagen überfahren wird. Danach verletzt Mrs. Hardy Ollie versehentlich so stark, dass er für eine Bluttransfusion ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert werden muss.. Der Arzt nötigt Stan zur Blutspende. Während der Transfusion treten jedoch Probleme auf, und als Stan und Ollie das Krankenhaus verlassen scheinen sie sich ineinander verwandelt haben.
