Auf dem Konzeptalbum „The Wall“ von Pink Floyd basierender britischer Musikfilm aus dem Jahr 1982. Es handelt sich um einen Realfilm, der auch Zeichentrick-Sequenzen umfasst. Pink-Floyd-Sänger und Bassist Roger Waters hat das Drehbuch geschrieben, die Handlung wird jedoch auf ein Minimum beschränkt. Im Mittelpunkt des Films steht die Musik.
Nach einem Raumschiffabsturz auf dem Planeten Peridede ist der siebenjährige Piel plötzlich auf sich allein gestellt. Auf dem unwirtlichen Planeten sieht er sich immer wieder den Angriffen von Riesenhornissen ausgesetzt, die schon seine Eltern töteten. Seine einzige Hoffnung ist das Funkgerät, das ihm sein Vater überließ. Er hält Kontakt zu seinem väterlichen Freund Jaffar, der mit seiner Crew bereits auf dem Weg ist, um Piel zu retten. Auf dem Weg nach Peridide lauern einige Gefahren auf die rettende Crew und eine unerwartende Überraschung.
The picture, unlike the other film adaptations of the story, focuses much more on Crusoe’s life before and after his stay on the island. Following the principle of setting the novel right, it describes Crusoe’s experiences with delicate irony and understanding.
Produced by Frank Zappa in 1982, The Dub Room Special combines footage from a performance at the KCET studios in Los Angeles on August 27, 1974, a concert performed at The Palladium, NYC on October 31, 1981, some clay animation by Bruce Bickford, and several interviews. Previously only available through mail-order, it was made widely available on DVD on October 17, 2005.

This moving film tells the story of Sarah, a little girl who is orphaned by the war. She hides out in the forest and tries to end the war by sabotaging a railway bridge that is used by munitions trains. Slowly and painfully, throughout a freezing winter, she prises bricks from the supporting columns. In a sudden Spring thaw an ice floe crashes into the weakened column of the bridge and it plunges into the river. Sadly, she realizes that the end of the bridge does not mean the end of the war and she rejoins the creatures of the wild, disappearing into the forest forever.
4 stories. In the first, Mônica and her friends are introduced to the people. In the second, Mônica gets miniaturized and has an affair with a little mouse. In the third episode, Mônica becomes a hermit. And the last segment shows Earth being invaded by interplanetary rabbits.
